#1 FORTRESS shall continue to repair your Product if it fails to function generally, and such failure is not a mechanical or electrical breakdown. However, the maximum repair cost for this additional repair service will be limited to 30% the Product’s purchase price (“Additional Service Balance”), and repair service is limited to twice per annum. You will be liable to pay for the repair cost in excess of the Additional Service Balance where applicable.
#2 Battery replacement during the FORTRESS extended warranty period (i.e. after the expiry of the Manufacturer’s Warranties) where the battery capacity of your Mobile-Phone is less than eighty percent (80%) in the 1st year or seventy percent (70%) in the 2nd year of its original capacity. For Tablet, Laptop and Smart Wearable with embedded batteries and when the Original Battery Capacity drops below 80% (Apple & Samsung Devices) or 70% (Other Brands) in the 1st year only.
If you sell your Product to FORTRESS for a new device under same product category (purchased also from FORTRESS) through the “Trade-In” program within the contract period, you are eligible to receive a FORTRESS voucher. Mainland China Premium Extended Warranty: if your Product is confirmed to suffer from mechanical or electrical breakdown, you can opt to repair your Product or proceed with a Product replacement. The cost of replacement will be equivalent to the cost of repairing the Product as stated in the repair quotation issued by ACS (including inspection fee) and shall be limited to 100% of the product’s purchase price or what remains of the Repair Balance, which ever is lower (“Replacement Limit”).
