Enjoy a one-time replacement / upgrade service for products with electrical and mechanical failures in your 1st year after original warranty period. You can replace it directly by going to the nearby Fortress store (excluding large appliance), no queueing, no waiting.

Speedy Replacement


Once products occurs electrical & mechanical failures, you may replace the product.
(Replacement Value is limited to 70% of the purchase price of purchased product.)

Overall Parallel Imported Products


Parallel imported Products will receive a full replacement value of 100% of the purchase price of purchased product.
(It is applicable to Easy Replacement Plan purchased in retail stores.)​​

Upgrade to latest model


By paying the price difference, you have the option to upgrade the product.

Save Queueing Time for Repair


Instead of waiting at a repair center, you can visit any nearby FORTRESS store for product replacement.​


Easy Replacement Plan - Extended Warranty Period


Easy Replacement offers 12-month extended warranty period after original warranty period.


Example: A customer purchases a steam oven with a 1-year original warranty period and adds Easy Replacement, which extends the warranty by an additional year. The warranty details are as follows:

Add Easy Replacement plan together with the product to the shopping cart.​

2. Agree and accept Easy Replacement T&Cs.

Provide personal information and checkout, to complete the order.​

4. Receive email confirmation

Easy Replacement T&Cs will be sent via email. Please keep it in case you need to proceed with a replacement​.

Replacement Procedure


If the product occurs electrical and mechanical failures, please follow the below steps for replacement.

 

Personal electronic and small appliance

1. Visit any FORTRESS store

Please bring along with the product and receipt to any FORTRESS store.

2. Inspection

FORTRESS representative will check the product and confirm the reason of product failures.

3. Choose replacement product

If the product failures are confirmed by electrical and mechanical reasons, you may exchange or upgrade the model with replacement value.

 

Large appliance

2. Arrange supplier technician for onsite inspection

CS officer may request an onsite inspection by supplier technician. (FORTRESS will cover the inspection fee, but there may be a requirement for the customer to pay the fee in advance.)

3.Choose replacement product

If the product failures are confirmed by electrical and mechanical reasons, you may exchange or upgrade the model with replacement value at any Fortress store.

Warranty Service Related​
When will Easy Replacement start?
Easy Replacement will be started on the first day after the original product manufacturer warranty period has ended. The extended warranty period will be 12 months.
What is the difference between Easy Replacement and original product manufacturer warranty?
After the original product manufacturer warranty period has ended, Easy Replacement will continue to offer warranty service for your product.
Can Easy Replacement can be bought after transaction is made?
Customer has to buy within 30 days after the product purchased.
If no product replacement have been arranged during Easy Replacement Period, will the service be extended automatically?
Easy Replacement will be ended when it comes to the expiry date of the service. Even if no service request has been successfully made, the extended warranty service will not be extended.
When will Easy Replacement be ended? 
Easy Replacement will be ended when it comes to the expiry date of the plan, or when a service request has been successfully made to product replacement.
Can I buy Easy Replacement again after the plan is expired?
Easy Replacement will be ended when it comes to the expiry date of the plan. No extra plan can be bought after that.
Can I cancel Easy Replacement ? 
Easy Replacement cannot be cancelled once it has been purchased.
Service Request Related
Within the Easy Replacement period, do I have to go to the manufacturer warranty centre to fix the product?
Customer does not need to visit the manufacturer warranty centre. Customer only needs to visit Fortress store for replacement. For large appliance, please contact Easy Replacement hotline for inspection arrangement.
How many product replacement can be arranged within Easy Replacement period?
You can replace for once. Easy Replacement will be ended after the replacement have been arranged. 
If the product has been fixed in product manufacturer warranty centre before, will it affect the coverage of Easy Replacement?
If the product has been replaced to different model, different color or different IMEI etc. during the original warranty period, please inform us about the change. If customer does not inform us about it, we may reject the service request in the future.
In what circumstance will the service request be rejected?
Easy Replacement will be rejected if the product is under original warranty period or request reason is because of electrical & mechanical failures.
