Taroko National Park

Taroko National Parking is the fourth national park in Taiwan, its massive size stretches over Hualien County, Taichung County and Nantou County. The name of Taroko comes from the indigenous language in Taiwan, meaning great mountains. This nature treasure is created with a height, over half of the park is above 2,000 feet, while over ⅙ is above 3,000 feet. 27 of the Taiwan top 100 mountains are also located in Taroko.
