Fortress Pro-Team Service – Terms and Conditions

The product application services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services") provided by Fortress Pro-Team include One to One Personal Consultations, Experience workshops, Data Transfer Packages, and Paid Services.

Upon purchase of any designated product type (including mobile phone/laptop/digital camera) at Fortress, you will be entitled to one free Workshop or One to One Personal Consultations provided by Pro-Team, or two Experience Workshops or One to One Consultations provided by Pro-Team with a single receipt of $4,000 or more (hereinafter referred to as the "Workshop"). "Workshop Offer").

Upon purchase of any mobile phone product at FORTRESS, you can join the "Mobile Data Transfer Package" (the first 150GB of mobile data) for free (the "Data Transfer Offer"), or pay a fee of HK$300 to join the "Mobile Data Transfer Package" (the first 150GB of mobile data) once, and an additional service fee (HK$200) will be charged for the first 150GB of mobile data exceeding the first 150GB, subject to a cap of 300GB. 

The Workshop Offer and Data Transfer Offer must be used within 3 months from the date of purchase of the product. 

Customers can participate in the One to One Personal Consultation without purchasing any products, and the service fee is HK$200 per session. This fee is charged by the instructor before the start of the course. For details of this service, please contact our staff. 

Fees will be charged by the instructor before the start of the course for participating in paid advanced teaching and Services, course services for [paid services] or additional services for enjoying courses. 

Please make an appointment on the FORTRESS website, and a confirmation email will be sent to the customer who has successfully booked. 

Please present the confirmation email and the original sales receipt to the instructor before the service starts.

Customers can only book a One to One Personal Consultation or workshop offer once on the same day.

In case of any disputes arising from these terms & conditions, or guiding service and Workshop offer, the decision of FORTRESS shall be final.

Fortress reserves the right to change the terms and conditions and terminate the Service at any time without prior notice. Fortress shall not be liable for any such change or termination. 

No person other than the customer concerned and Fortress will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions for Content Transfer Service

Acceptance of Terms

This is an agreement between Fortress - a division of A.S. Watson Retail (HK) Limited ("the Company") and you ("You" or “the Customer”), a user of Content Transfer Service ("the Service"). BY USING THE SERVICE, THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. If the Customer does not agree to any of these terms and conditions, the Service will not be provided to you.

Content Transfer Service (“the Service”)

The lead time for content transfer may vary between models of your device and the amount of content required to be transferred to your new device.

Due to different file types of the old and new device, content may not be entirely transferred to the new device during the process. The formatting and presentation of the file content in the old device may also appear different on the new device.

The Company is not responsible or liable for any loss of data or content, which may occur at any stage during the Service for any reasons whatsoever. Also the Company is not liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from any such loss of data or content.

Content transfer effectiveness is determined by a number of factors. Not all types of data and/or content can be transferred with the same degree of success. The Company adopts best practice, but cannot guarantee and/or warrant that all data and/or content will be transferred without loss.

The Service is not available to device which has been modified in an unauthorized way (e.g. jailbreaking).

The Company reserves the right to refuse to provide the Service and to transfer, install or use any programs or applications that are illegal or unauthorised (or suspected to be so), infringing information or content.

With the use of the Service, the Customer agrees and authorizes the Company’s staff to access the content in the Customer’s device for the sole purpose of content transfer.

The Company will not be liable or responsible to any property loss and damage arising our of or in connection with the Service.

Your Responsibilities

It is the Customer’s responsibility not to lose, destroy or damage the content on your devices. The Customers are strongly advised to backup all data and information on their devices prior to the Service. The Customer agrees to assume the all risks for any loss of data or content.

Privacy Policy

The Company will do its best to keep the Customer’s personal information safe, but it is the Customer’s responsibility and the Customer is advised to protect his/her own personal information carefully.

Limitation of Liability

The Company shall under no circumstances be liable whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise (including without limitation for negligence, breach of contract, defamation) for any special, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limitation, loss of revenue, loss of data or goodwill) which is suffered, sustained or incurred by the Customer or any person arising (directly or indirectly) from or out of or relating to the Service.

The Company reserves the right to make any final decision in relation to whether to provide the Service, and how the Service should be performed and to revise the terms and conditions of the Service from time to time.

Our sales representative will be happy to provide you with a copy of these Terms and Conditions on request and to provide you with the necessary assistance and information.

If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
